Konoba Rino

The feeling of warmth of an open fire-place where various delicacies are prepared in winter and summer days and a grand covered terrace with the view over the beautiful Momjan countryside in the fresh summer afternoon is the best invitation for a family lunch or meeting friends at the Rino Tavern. The seasonal delicacies and tasty specialties of the house are prepared by the owner and the main chef Timka, who will take you on a culinary journey with her knowledge and her skills.

 

Long hospitality tradition
The Rino Tavern was opened in 1988 and for many years it has offered guests the highest quality ingredients and salami produced on the family farm in the surroundings of Grožnjan. Meat delicacies like Fiorentina steak, beef steak, salami and 'ombolo' steak are prepared on the grill using fire wood. Here at the Rino Tavern, guests can taste some of the unique Istrian specialties like home-made pasta, gnocchi, 'fuži' and other types of pasta dishes with truffles, asparagus, Istrian beef goulash, 'pulić' donkey or game goulash and 'žgvacet' hen stew.

Homey atmosphere and wine
The tavern has a traditional Istrian appearance so that guests can enjoy delicacies and a homey atmosphere. All specialties and tastes of culinary highlights can be complemented with an outstanding wine list.
